How we started
J&C Auto Sales began in the late 1980s as Tony and Dad's Automobile Service — named for Tony and his father Marty, who backed the business. The split was simple: Marty kept the books, Tony ran the shop and fixed everything that rolled in.
Marty's plan was always to build it alongside his son and eventually hand it over. Asked about how that turned out, he put it plainly: "I think he's turned out to be a pretty good businessman."
That repair shop is why we still do things differently. Most buy here pay here lots send their vehicles somewhere else to be checked. We inspect ours in our own service center, which means we know what we're selling you — and we're still here when something needs attention after the sale.
